In Memory of Chris Green

Director, Economics and Strategy

It is with great sadness that we mourned the loss of our friend and colleague Christopher Stephen Green who passed away on 8 August 2017, leaving his wife Julie and two daughters, Anna and Sarah, as well as extended family and friends.

Chris was a well-loved member of the FNZC team having returned to New Zealand to take up the role of Economist in the research team 8 years ago. Chris made a huge contribution to our business and was well respected amongst our clients.
Chris frequently represented FNZC in the media where his expertise was regularly called upon.

But our lasting memories of Chris will be as a friend who always saw the funny side of life. While ever-serious in practicing his craft as an Economist, Chris was an unflappable, self-deprecating person. Chris kept our team on an even-keel with his daily diet of witty humour and great impersonations and will be missed by all whom knew him.
