Two new Auckland locations for New Zealand investment and advisory group
FNZC announces today its rebrand to Jarden will be brought to life in Auckland at Commercial Bay when the firm takes naming rights and two floors of 21 Queen St, currently Zurich House.
Jarden is also among the founding clients of Precinct Properties’ new PwC Tower, adjacent to Jarden House (currently Zurich House, 21 Queen Street), which is under construction on Auckland’s waterfront as part of the Commercial Bay development.
Jarden and its people will occupy 1,356 square metres of the new PwC Tower, on level 32 of the 39 level building, and 1,143 square metres at 21 Queen Street, which will become known as Jarden House from 1 January 2020.
CEO James Lee said:
“Taking naming rights for Jarden House in 2020 along with our move into the new PwC Tower is exciting for our people and our clients. We’re proud that Jarden will become such a foundational part of this area that Precinct Properties are creating, where different businesses can collaborate and grow.”
“Having our Auckland team in one new precinct, adjacent to our team at OMF in Galway Street nearby, will support greater connection between the different areas of our business, helping to embody the Jarden culture. The connection between the two buildings appealed to us, and we’re also pleased to continue our relationship with the Precinct Properties team who are our longstanding landlord.”
The new PwC Tower will join four existing office buildings, and three levels of retail and hospitality as part of the Commercial Bay precinct, a moniker which draws on the location’s history as a trading hub in the 1800s. The precinct will link together a working population of 10,000 people with the new PwC Tower at the centre.
Precinct Properties CEO Scott Pritchard said:
“We’re pleased to welcome Jarden to the new PwC Tower at Commercial Bay and to also announce the renaming of 21 Queen Street to Jarden House.”
“The Commercial Bay precinct brings together the best commercial space with world class entertainment retail and hospitality offerings, and we look forward to Jarden playing a central role in the Commercial Bay landscape.”
FNZC is an existing client of Precinct Properties and has occupied level 39 of the ANZ Centre since 2008. The firm will retain its Union Street office in Freemans Bay where several of the wealth team are based.
