Bill was appointed Chairman of First NZ Capital in 2002. He was previously Chief Executive of the firm and a Managing Director of Credit Suisse First Boston.

Bill has a wide range of experience in capital markets and corporate transactions.

Scott was appointed Chief Executive Officer of First NZ Capital in 2002, a role he held until early 2017. He joined First NZ Capital's predecessor company CS First Boston in 1993 following seven years at Hendry Hay McIntosh.

Scott is a NZX accredited adviser, a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a member of the Institute of Finance Professionals of New Zealand (INFINZ), a Non Executive Director of Fisher and Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited, Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited, the Fonterra Shareholders Fund and the NEXT Foundation.

Scott is Chancellor of the University of Auckland. He is the former Chairman of the Securities Industry Association, an incorporated body representing the interests of the sharebroking industry, a former member of the Government appointed Capital Markets Development Taskforce and Financial Markets Authority Establishment Board, and former Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse Emerging Companies Australia. Scott is an Honorary Vice President of the Parnell Cricket Club.

James joined First NZ Capital's predecessor company Credit Suisse First Boston in 2000 and became CEO on April 1 2017.

He was appointed as Head of Securities in 2014 and has overall responsibility for Wealth Management and Institutional Securities, and sits on the Board of First NZ Capital Holdings Limited, our governing entity.

James' Australasian focus has ensured he has developed strong relationships with a wide variety of domestic and Australian based clients, both Institutional and Corporate. His experience has covered extensive secondary market activity with his team being consistently number one in terms of market share.

James is actively involved in First NZ Capital’s Equities Capital Markets team, creating securities based solutions, including IPOs of Summerset, Synlait Milk, Eroad and Genesis, and placements in Tower, Refining NZ, Heartland and Summerset.

Sam was appointed Managing Director and Head of Investment
Banking in October 2014.  Sam joined First NZ Capital in 2006 after eight
years in Australia with Greenhill Caliburn, one of Australia’s leading
independent mergers and acquisitions advisory firms.

Sam has a wide range of domestic and international clients
and has extensive experience in domestic and cross border mergers and
acquisitions, financings and capital raisings.

Sam is also a Director on the First NZ Capital Board.

Founder President of First NZ Capital

Bryan joined Jarden & Co in 1966 to become the firm’s fourth staff member.

He became Managing Partner in 1977 following the sudden death of the firm’s founder, Ron Jarden.

Bryan, along with his partners the sometimes named ‘Jarden boys’, laid the foundations of the firm that it is today and was the leading influence in New Zealand financial markets in the 1980's.

Bryan has a substantial range of commercial and community interests.

David is the Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Trafalgar Copley, a hedge fund manager.

From 2004 until 2007 he was Managing Director and Head of Securities at First NZ Capital. Whilst at the firm, David was responsible for institutional equities, equity research, fixed income, asset management and wealth management.

David started his career as an equity research analyst and joined UBS in New Zealand in 1997. From 2000 to 2004 he was a member of the Global Hedge Fund Research Sales desk for UBS in New York where he was responsible for the team covering U.S. based Global long/short and event driven hedge funds.

Sean is the founder and Managing Director of Triple T Consulting.

Alongside providing policy advice to central banks and regulatory authorities in Asia-Pacific, Triple T also provides market analysis and interpretation to a variety of hedge funds, asset managers and commercial banks around the world. Triple T is best known for the respected daily commentary “What's happening in the Money Markets” which is widely read throughout the financial markets.

Sean's career spans 25 years in the financial markets, in a variety of senior roles in London, Wellington, Sydney, Singapore and Tokyo. Most recently he was Managing Director of Global Money Market Funding and Short Term Interest Rate Trading in Asia-Pacific for Credit Suisse.

In 2012 Sean joined the Board of First NZ Capital as a Non-Executive Director.

Murray is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia + New Zealand and qualified with KPMG, working both in Auckland and London Offices on assurance, tax and advisory services.

In 1985 Murray Joined an associate firm of Jarden & Co, later to become CS First Boston as a floor trader before moving into the role of investment advice under a change of ownership with First NZ Capital.

Murray, with his team members, advises Families and Trusts along with corporate executive share schemes and financial intermediaries.

Murray is a board member of FNZC.
